IT-KM

Front-end web development, done so it still works a year later.

Over a decade of building interfaces — most of it in Angular, React and TypeScript, with the accessibility work included rather than bolted on at the end.

What I do

Front end
Angular, React and Lit, plus TypeScript, JavaScript and CSS. Component architecture, state, performance, and the browser behaviour nobody put in the estimate.
Accessibility
Semantic markup, keyboard and screen-reader testing, WCAG conformance. Built in from the first commit, or retrofitted into something that already shipped without it.
Back end
REST APIs in Node.js, with MongoDB, PostgreSQL or MariaDB behind them. Enough to build the endpoints a front end actually needs, and to hold a useful conversation with the people who own the rest of the stack.

How I work

Years of freelancing taught me the parts that aren't code. Scoping a feature with a product owner before it becomes a ticket. Reading a design file and asking the questions that save a redesign. Breaking work down so other developers can pick it up without a briefing.

Small teams get someone who can take a vague idea to production. Larger teams get someone who slots in and doesn't need managing.
